Just to let you all know about a special lady and her staff, who go out of their way to help us outriggers.......  Over the last couple of years, I've applied and been successful in a few grants.  Everytime I apply for a grant, I ring or email Jan Jarrett's office (Member for Whitsunday) and within a week, I have a letter of support on my desk......

I recently had to do a grant application for AOCRA, and she organised a letter of support from a SQ MP so that it was more relevant to the application.  If that wasn't enough, I needed another one quick smart, so her staff organised a letter from the Senator for Queensland!  

All of this with a smile, and who's to know of the effort being put in but me!  Well now you do too...

So leading into Xmas, I'd just like to say a big thanks to Jan Jarrett's office, who have been so supportive of Outrigger Canoeing in our region.  So lovely to have a MP who genuinely just wants to help the community!
