Welcome to another season of fun, competitive racing and new friendships!

Thanks to all those that braved the wind/rain and floods to attend the first regatta at Outrigger Whitsunday on the 27th February.  Results have now been posted under the "Results" section.  Congratulations to the Out Whit crew and their trusty band of volunteers who worked tirelessly to ensure the race went ahead.

Congratulations also to the Champion Club of the day - Sunset Bay - who blitzed the field in numerous divisions.  They also have secured the rights to paddle the Zone OC2 at the next regatta on the calendar - Malanuka on the 27th March in Mackay. 

Every nomination in the OC1/OC2/SUP classes at each regatta this season will secure your club a ticket in the random draw to win the brand new "Tempest OC2" made by Hurricane.  The more entries, the greater your club's chance of winning!

The Zone distributed free hats to all clubs at the regatta - we look forward to seeing you wear them with pride! 

A reminder that PFD's must be on all craft (OC1/OC2/OC6/SUP) at all times - TRAINING AND RACING!   Please ensure you adhere to this important safety rule, to avoid any disciplinary action.
