Welcome to the Northern Zone website!

Congratulations to all those clubs that competed at the Hamilton Cup.  Some magnificent performances again by our NQ clubs against the best in Australia!  A big thanks to the NQ Zone officials who provided the on-water management of the event, another fantastic effort again guys!

And also a hats off to the members who have represented us so well at National Title and international events this year - 2010 has certainly been one of our most successful ever.

2 regattas remain this season - 31st July in Cairns, and 28th August at Coconuts.

The Coconuts regatta is not only the final OC6 race of the season - it will also host the Zone AGM, and also the drawing of the winner of the Zone OC2. 

Every nomination in the OC1/OC2/SUP classes at each regatta this season will secure your club a ticket in the random draw to win the brand new "Tempest OC2" made by Hurricane.  The more entries, the greater your club's chance of winning!

The Zone is currently formulating the OC1/OC2 series calendar for 2010, and setting dates for the 2011 OC6 season.  Clubs should forward any expressions of interest to host regattas to the Zone secretary asap.
