Outrigger Canoe Coaches are an integral part of the club structure

Below are some documents which outline in detail the steps required to become an outrigger canoe coach or become re-accredited. We strongly encourage clubs to help our members achieve Qualified Coaching status, to ensure the viability of our clubs.

AUSPORT/AIS  and SPORT INTEGRITY/PLAY BY THE RULES CHANGES

1. When completing Pre-requisites or getting course certificates together be aware Sport Australia/AIS has updated their Community Coaching General Principles to Community Coaching Essential Skills from 10.4.2022.  Also if you are trying to find your Certificate pre 17.6.2021 you will have to request a copy through this link

2. Sport Integrity / Play by the Rules Certificates are now renewable every two years and instead of a Certificate per course you can requeste ELearning Certificate showing all your badges and their expiry timeframes to submit with applications.
